Harley Streten, known professionally as Flume, is a famous record producer & DJ from Australia who started his career on Triple J’s Unearthed back in 2011. Flume’s self-titled debut studio album was released in 2012 and quickly became a hit. It topped charts in Australia and peaked on the ARIA Album Charts in 2012. Flume has been in the entertainment industry for a while and his album just recently hit Triple J’s Hottest 100. Since then, he has continued to rise in popularity and win awards. He was also honored at the 54th Grammy Awards in 2016 when he earned a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album.
Flume grew up in Sydney’s coastal northern suburbs where he found his start as a music editor that came with cereal. As well as getting his tracks played in the biggest music festivals like Lollapalooza, Burning Man, and South By South West, Flume also became mainstays on radio stations of some of the biggest DJs.
